I’ve been wearing duty boots for nearly 10 years, and I’ve tried various brands, including some comfy CAF-issued boots. However, these boots are by far my favorites. I’ve had the same pair for over two years now, and unlike other boots where the heels wore out within a year, these have held up remarkably well.



When I first got them, they provided excellent grip in wet conditions and performed well in temperatures as low as -40°C, especially when paired with a good sock system. While they’re not the best in Gore-Tex (GTX) conditions, they still hold up well when walking through puddles. For temperatures above -10°C, I usually wear ankle sport socks, and I really enjoy the comfort they provide.



The warranty is impressive too. When my first pair had a defect, they resolved the issue within a month.



With other boots, I’ve had to use custom thermal form insoles, but not with these. I now use them for hiking, fishing, and any other activities where I know I’ll be on my feet all day.
