The LWB Covert IC06 ballistic insert provides ultra-discreet high-impact protection against special threats for use in situations where the user needs to blend in. Designed to be ultra-lightweight and inconspicuous, the plate is built to conform to the user's body to reduce the appearance of the plate under normal clothing. 

Plate Features

• Covert design shaped to conform to the user's body shape, delivering discreet protection 
• When used in conjunction with approved soft armour, it protects the wearer from the following special threats: 5.56x45mm 55GR BALL (M193) and 7.62x39mm 123GR PS BALL (MILD STEEL CORE) 
• Ultra-lightweight design, a medium torso plate weighs just 0.86KG (Areal Weight of 13.4 KG/M2)
• Thinness: Main Area: 14±1 mm, EDGES: TAPER TO 6±1 mm
• Undetectable from metal detectors 
• Buoyant and Ergonomic design prevents drag
• Passes Stringent NIJ 0101.06 Drop Test requirements
